Yes I was aware that your call was being "pirated" Chris - worked "you"
twice early on, and then "you" called CQ on MY frequency immediately after
the second qso ... Hummmm . Realised it was not you though - "you" weren't
strong enough!
Odd about 3YHV's signal, he is local to me, and sounded fine at the start of
the contest as we did a quick check.
N1MM worked well here, first time I have used it properly in a 'test. Pity
that you need 3 keys (Cntrl /alt /S) to toggle split mode on the FT1000D I
used that quite a lot. Click mod HAS been carried out !

A fun packed session! The band was really good for all distances of inter-G
working and was very busy. I was going like the clappers with 39 Qs in 19
minutes, then keying locked up. I've just returned to N1MM and it looks as
though the latest version has some new CW features like erratic changes of
speed and complete lock up. Lost 6 minutes rebooting computer, opening
Router and N1MM which at my Q rate was a loss of 12 QSOs for starters. Run
freq lost of course so went S&P with a couple of short run sessions.
In between all that the jammer was active again and I actually caught him
working someone using my callsign. Several people said Dupe to me, which it
wasn't so had to ask for another QSO. This guy is now getting persistent, I
think he was using other callsigns as well, and he also sent "Weekend" and
"QRP" to me early one.
Apart from the increasing proliferation once again of His Call, Exchange, my
main observation was two really bad sounding signals. G3YHV was modulated
and G3XVR was very rough. Difficult to comment on any clix because most of
the time I ran with the 250Hz filter in.
FT1kMP, dipole apex at 57ft high, ends up at 45ft high over water logged
heavy clay soil.
Bottom line is 114 QS. Chris G3SJJ
