Hi.

Apologies for the rough signal on Thursday night - I wasn't aware of it 
at the time.  The rig had not been switched on since CQWW CW in November 
and there seems to be an intermittent fault which causes the synthesiser 
to go noisy for a short time.  Yesterday I traced this to a DC-DC 
converter module on the display board which occasionally starts 
"singing" and puts noise on the -5V line.  My IC761 is getting on for 18 
years old, so I hope Icom still have spares available.
