[UK-CONTEST] AFS CW G0ORH

I was feeling pretty tired for AFS having just driven from Isle of Arran, west coast of Scotland to Newbury. I was lucky to get off Arran, as ferry services were being shutdown due to the severe weather conditions. After raising the tower and getting my antenna and feeder untangled from the tower sections I had 15minutes spare to the off.
Conditions at first were difficult with deep qsb. Some very close stations were just audible above the noise...Strange...but GAV was bouncing in from GM, but JJ had a weak signal here in the south. I thought he was running 200w instead of his usual 400watts!!!!!!!. 

Anyway here used MP5, barefoot 200watts, into a doublet at 50ft, Qso's 224. Best DX, 2 5B4's.
The best run came during the last 15minutes with quite a few new calls giving me a contact
