Hi Deni

Providing you have a spare 5.25" expansion slot in the front of your PC, 
there are plenty of sound cards with a comprehensive external interface, RCA 
and digital connectors, etc., such as the SB Audigy 2, which comes in 
various flavours and doesn't cost the earth.
