Hello all

I detect some 'smoke and mirrors' when describing what particular software 
can or cannot do .....

With CQ WW CW approaching, it is worth trying these quick tests with the 
software you use :

Enter the callsign JJ3YBV into the callsign field and press Enter (or Insert 
or f5 or f5+f2) to start the callsign (or call + exchange) sending process

1.  Hit 'escape' (or whatever abort sending key your software specifies) - 
does the sending stop *instantly* i.e. not after a buffer has emptied ? 
YES/NO

2.  During sending, you notice the typo or copying error - correct the last 
letter V (before the software has reached that part of the callsign) to B - 
is the callsign now sent correctly ?      YES/NO

If the answer is 'NO' to either question, I suggest you change to better 
software which will increase speed/efficiency when handling a pile-up of 
callers.
