Hi all,

Well, it's a start! But why oh why so many pages devoted to VHF contesting?
Whilst I agree it is popular, why couldn't there be more about HF contests
in general, maybe with some serious hints/tips for having a go in a contest
for the first time?
We have CQWW SSB and CW both coming up, and I am sure quite a few ops will
have a go, even if only to work a few new ones. So why not give them a few
pointers to aid them in getting those new ones in the log?

I think any way to encourage folk to try contesting is worth while, even if
it isn't necessarily for RSGB contests.

Still, I guess a supplement for contests is way better than nothing!

I guess all those emails of complaint to the RSGB worked wonders! Well done
to Tim for putting it all together, as I am sure it must have caused him a
great deal of extra work.
