Curious, I've worked 'PPT frequently and have worked 'AFF on 2m. I've never
heard any of the others mentioned, yesterday the only Scottish stations
heard (& worked) were 'GPZ/P & 4JR. In total I had 51 QSO's and scored 5044
pts. (No continentals, EI's or GI's worked).

I feel that we're there already, with a few exceptions most of today's
younger generation want to do nothing except play computer games etc.
Listening to what goes on on some amateur bands who can blame them when
they've all got mobile phones etc.?

I've never worked anyone at the bottom (CW?) end of 2m, yesterday I put out
a number of calls on CW but these only resulted in one QSO.
I lost several hours replacing the feeder that goes up the tower after the
Westflex 103 pulled out of the N connector, '103 might have reasonable
electrical characteristics but mechanically it's really not as good as
standard RG213 which I use to go around the rotator and which will only add
less than 0.5 of a dB if I bring it right to the base of the tower, a job
for the summer I think!
