Less than an hour before the contest the QRN from a passing storm was horrendous but when I came back up 20 mins before the start all was quiet again and the sun was shining so the band was kind to us up here in Yorkshire.
Worked 123, even though I had a station sat nearly on top of me just sending constant cw for the first 30 mins or so.
Really good fun these short contests, and always look forward to them. I had never played with Data before I got talked into trying it to do these CC tests, now I am hooked on RTTY tests as well.
CU all next year in the CC's

In fact here in Bracknell there was very sign of the pyrotechnics we
had earlier, the band was remarkably quiet. And busy, there were some
enormous serials being sent early on.

Ended up with 72 QSOs here. I thought I was going to beat my previous
QRP record as I maintained 60Q/hour consistent for the first hour -
even though when I worked no. 58 at 1958z Superduper claimed I was only
on 57/hour... But as in all these events it slowed down somewhat in the
last 30 minutes.

Hopefully next year I can manage to get some more of our members on, I
felt very lonely last night...
