Yes, David is spot on!

Radcom has improved considerably over recent months, it had become
little more than an advertising medium for Waters & Stanton, Martin
Lynch etc, sewn together with a few articles.

Not that long ago, Peter Kirby sat down with David and I (to discuss
other issues) and during the meeting I offered my view that Radcom
seemed to (at that time) have very little obvious RSGB origination; the
evidence of it being the official journal was scant and far from obvious
and that a quick look at QST would show how it should be done!

One of my major gripes was that there was no editorial from an RSGB
Official (President, General Manager, whatever!) at the beginning of the
magazine, something that would tell the membership what was going on,
what the RSGB was doing and how our resources were being applied, etc.

I am pleased to see that a column is now being included in every issue
and whilst I am not claiming this as a personal "success", it is clear
that at long last the heirachy are listening to the card carrying, dues
paying membership.

Radcom still has an awful long way to go to catch up with QST or even
Practical Wireless for that matter, but it is improving!
