Amateur radio is a very broad church.  For my part, thank goodness it 
is.  Everyone doesn't have to be a contester or a dxer or a constructor 
or whatever else.  My amateur radio may not be your amateur radio but 
there is room for both on our bands.  Though maybe not during a major 
contest weekend.  :-D
