To me, that puts all the debate in to some perspective and should give us 
all encouragement.  Well done and thank you for sharing it with us.

I sincerely hope that RadCom would run a short article describing your 
experience.  I would be happy to add some material from experiences here, 
when I have opened up the shack for members of the Carlisle Club to come and 
have a go at some contesting in a secure environment.
