Having witnessed my wife's difficulties in making a 2M call understood,
I wouldn't go near one! (Getting rid of that "2" is her greatest single
incentive to upgrade.)
A partial solution to the limited number of two-letter calls could be to
make two-letter vanity calls subject to re-issue a few years after they
lapse, while retaining the present policy for all existing two-letter
calls.
On the other hand, GM3SK would be too much like tempting Fate...
