Hi Andrew and thanks for the QSOs! I guessed there had to be an error of some sort and did a double take when I heard Joop's call. As we all tend to make mistakes from time to time, I don't have a problem at all and have noted the time of your message, which as you say is well before the contest start.
The team turnout was excellent all round and a great improvement on last year, so congratulations to all the captains for working extra hard cracking the whip! A lot of "new" calls to the event too, which is especially pleasing.
Just about to crash out . . .

Hi Peter et al
Joop, one of our Team Africa members, has just emailed me a correction - his callsign is ZS6WR, not ZS6WC as I submitted it. Same guy, just I got his call wrong. Although I take note of the fact that you won't be monitoring email until after BERU, I'm hoping that as I am submitting this correction before the contest the other team captains will agree to allow the correction to be made after the contest!
I have no objection to the Team Canada change.
73 and good luck to all,
Andrew ZS6AA
Captain Team Africa

Hi John
As you say, it should be too late to make team changes at this stage, however as Claude will be activating VA2RAC, this will be acceptable, subject to none of the other team captains raising an objection. I'm also concious that you have stepped in at a late stage John to captain the Canadian team and I'm sure all BERU participants will be very appreciative of that.
Good luck to you all and now, for me, some shut-eye. This will be the last time I shall be monitoring emails until after BERU 2008, so no further changes can now be accepted.

Peter G3LET
