You work everybody and all contacts count regardless of what category a station
is in.

It's only when your position in the results gets calculated that the category
gets used and then you are compared only to those entrants in the same category
as you to work out your position.

If you were restricted to working only those in your own category the CQ call
would have to include the details or else the exchange would.
