[UK-CONTEST] Help/advice needed - a bit off-topic

Hi all,

I am having problems with AVG anti-virus when used in conjuction with
Outlook.
I find that unless I turn off the scanning of outgoing emails, any emails to
"mailman" style reflectors simply fails to get sent. This includes this
reflector, Writelog, RTTY and so on.
Oddly, emails to Yahoo groups works OK.

It seems I am not alone in suffering this problem, which appears to be down
to a recent upgrade.

So, I am now facing the possibility of choosing another FREE anti-virus
program.

Does anyone have any specific preferences? I have downloaded AVAST, but have
not yet had time ot install it.
Does this work with Outlook in a similar way to AVG (at least, when it does
work!!) ??
