Tim,

As you are well aware from private correspondence on this matter the
RSGB is NOT withdrawing funding from GB3VHF.   The decision to shut the
beacon down was made by the keeper when informed of the proposed
increases in site rental and a request to contribute.   There are still
6 months to run on the contract and the keeper is being asked to review
his decision.

The problem is not only increasing site rentals.   The rates and
electricity bills total almost £2K alone and are due to increase again.

Mischief making is not helpful.
