Hi Chris,

Not sure about Logger 32 or VE7CC but I'm pretty sure the first time you run N1MM you need to right click the icon and select run as administrator, after that it should be fine. Latest version of N1MM runs fine for me on Vista Ultimate although I have turned off a lot of the new security as that can cause problems too.

There is a Vista guide for N1MM somewhere on their website.

I bought a new desktop computer this week, solely for radio. It has
Vista!!! No choice it was an offer to students and staff at Nottm Trent
Uni where my wife works.

So far I have tried to install Logger32, N1MM and VE7CC Cluster, all
without success.

Logger 32 - I can install the basic program, but it doesn't recognise
any of the files I transferred from my laptop, ie config, logbook etc.
even though they are in the correct foler

N1MM - I installed the base version and then upgraded. When I try to run
it I get an error message saying it has encountered a problem and needs
to shut down.

VE7CC - Again install the base program OK, doesn't wan to accept an
upgrade to the latest version and can't get it to connect anyway.

When I was trying to transfer files from my laptop I kept getting a
message about see Administrator. It has transfered them but doesn't
recognise them.

Are these normal problems with Vista?
