Thanks for the reminder about the 144 MHz Trophy Contest this weekend 15:00
Local Saturday to 15:00 Local Sunday!
 
The Five Bells Contest Group - G5B will be operating from IO92,
Lincolnshire.
 
Size of arrays is weather dependant but will probably be 6 x 12element & 3 x
12 element at approx 75ft agl
 
Echoing John's plea .. If anybody has 2 metre capabilities please call in
even if it's tonight after you return from a night out, your call will be
most welcome.

Morning all
 
This weekend is not only ssb Field Day, it's also the 2m Trophy contest.
Colchester Radio Amateurs will be qrv using G0VHF/P from Essex. The weather
did it's very best yesterday to defeat our attempts at preliminary assembly
but we did manage to get the tent up and one mast rigged.
 
So, for those of you with VHF capability, please pin back your ears and give
us a call. Just don't expect conditions to be any good !
