[UK-CONTEST] Retro contesting

Managed to buy a full ts830s line up today (another mid life crisis after
the motor bike) as I always fancied the ts830 and couldn't resist it - mint
condition, full line up including speaker, second vfo, atu, and station
monitor, all with original boxes and manuals.

I reckon it will take me a few months to get used to tuning a valve pa again
and to get back up to speed with driving it - so how do you think I will
fare if I try retro contesting with it in cqww cw, and any tips from some of
you OTs as to how to get the best out of it?
