Colin, I disconnected everything - and even with just the mains connected,
this issue occurs.
I will go and see the TV department at John Lewis in Solihull tomorrow since
I have a 5 year warranty.
You can bet they won't have a clue what I'm on about..

Guys,
Have you tried disconnecting the TV aerial to see what happens? Plasma
TVs have a reputation for re-radiating back up the feeder.
