Don't blame me for 413XDI. I'd already had 1220PP pretty early on. On
previous occasions, the odd overseas station has joined in, adding a bit
of interest with a seemingly random postcode! I didn't notice any this
time.

I guess you have to expect the unexpected! Anything is possible; with
paper logging or a computer foul-up it is also very easy to send the
same code to two stations.

 

As for the "error free log" this can only be by luck rather than
judgement, as an error free log is dependent on all the other stations
sending you the same thing as they put in their log. Also, part of the
fun is that the postcodes start to get mixed up - so its best if every
participant messes up a bit:-)

 

Anyway if you are reading this and haven't experienced the warped
pleasure of a Ropoco contest then please set your alarm clock and have a
go on Sunday 2 August at 8am BST - put it in your diary today.
