There are many who do the foundation and bugger else because they have 
by dint of proving themselves to have the intelligence of a child 
obtained everything they ever wanted ie access to the amateur bands with 
no restrictions. Please, don't give me the 10w nonsense, the bands are 
awash with QRO M3's and 6's as we all know. The problems I have with the 
current set up in the UK aside from the rank cheating that goes on are 
these:

1. The foundation licence is pitched at far too low a level.
2. No time or age limit.
3. Power being used as an incentive to upgrade. C'mon, surely someone 
must have foreseen how this would be abused.
4. It is utterly disgraceful that those who we should be welcoming into 
the service with open arms should have to attend "school" with children 
and the illiterate who can and do have the exam and answers read to them.
