Hi all,
Very similar observations to the other reports I have seen here on this one... from the G4IRC/P team:
- N-S seemed better than E-W propagation
- Very aggressive QSB at times.
- Very little if anything worked from GW which is unusual for us
- IO8X squares very hard to come by ... except the furthest away 85 & 86 square in GM. But missed PPT and other GMs.
- GJ & GU both worked ... unusual for us.
- No EI worked .. usually we do.
- JO31 square seemed impossible despite being the usual bread and butter DL square for us. (JO30, 32, 33 were ok).
- 3rd best score of the year for us.
Thanks to the GJ7 who tried CW to beat the QSB ... well timed calling while we were working the GU even though our one no-CW op who happened to be on the mic at the time didn't get it, the others present did!
Andy OEG was another that was battling the deep QSB when he first called us ... When I heard the GM and G I should've really guessed the rest without needing an extra exchange but thanks for the patience while I pulled you out.
Thanks to all the folk who worked us in any of the sessions throughout the year. Looking forward to 2010.
