... and just living on the coast doesn't necessarily give one a good takeoff.  I am in the middle of a housing estate with noise all around me, no matter which way I beam.  The Dutch and Belgian beacons are just barely audible under flat conditions.  Not everyone who's on the Essex coast has a G4PIQ or G0VHF sort of site and it would be great if you could take that into account in future.

I only worked GM for the first time this year from this location and I've never worked into IO75, but I bet you've worked JO01!
