It's the RX antenna RF protection relay Don. Tells you there is too much
transmitted RF being picked up by the bev and so isolates the Rx.

I get a similar reaction here. My 300ft bev runs almost parallel
underneath the 160m dipole and the relay chatters when I transmit. It
doesn't happen when I am on 80m using the delta loop which is about 50ft
away from the end of the bev and running broadside to it. Currently I go
back to the main ant on Rx before txing which is a pain.

A separate isolation relay is the only answer unless you can move the
bev! I can't unless I move it about 200m into the woods!

If I go back to the K9AY (or the main transmitting antenna for receive) the problem goes away. The problem appears to be the effect RF coming down the RX antenna line (I assume there is more from the beverage than the K9AY.
