To be valid, a QSO is no more (and no less) than the two-way
exchange, and acknowledgement, of callsigns. For DXpeditions,
59 or 5NN serve perfectly well as the necessary acknowledgement.
DXpeditions exist solely to have QSOs - the faster the better.
Unless they run out of callers, and choose to chat, they are
not in the business of handing out "realistic" reports.
That's why they always send 59 or 5NN. Even if you give them
a different report, they always log 59 or 5NN - because that's
what the software has pre-filled, and they are not going to
waste time by editing it.
