That could have gone a lot better !  

Conditions seemed good, and found a good frequency about 3724 and ran the first hour to 165 Qs. The GMs were strong from the start, and the run was good. Then a couple of Scandinavian stations started up on the frequency, and would not move. So I had to give in as they were well over S9. My next frequency was OK, I think, until a German decided that he did not like contests on 80 and kept telling me to go away !. So another move, and ended up around 3686 squashed in between a couple of other stations. The general background QRM level limited the QSO rate, and so ended up with 398 good Q's.  Nowhere near last year's score, although given clearer frequencies it could have been much better. But good fun none the less.
