[UK-CONTEST] 80m Contest - defeated.

Was going to have a dabble in this one but sometime overnight Friday -
Saturday the top section of my top band inverted L came off. I think the top
2 sections of the fibreglass pole have just come out, how I don't know. What
spoiled things for 80m was that the loose 160m wire then wrapped itself
round the 80m dipole and I could not free it from the ground so had to leave
it.

Murphy then had a real laugh.  In the winds of Saturday night the wires
magically disentangled again. Ever get the idea some things were not to be!

 

Now to work out how on earth to get the top band antenna together again.
Will need to wait for a nice calm day.    Tony G4LDL
