(iv) QSOs can only be established by replying to a station calling "CQ"
(Search and Pounce).

Can I ask if this rule was adhered to by some fixed stations some of whom
I heard calling CQ during VHFNFD on 144Mhz? particularly during the
Sporadic.

Im amazed to see a claimed score of 323 QSOs made using this method this
morning. The band was unusually quiet up to 2300 when I stopped operating
on Saturday.

Surely we dont want to get into the situation where a fixed stations wins
NFD on any band?

Im not pointing the finger at anyone, just a comment.
