Well to be fair to the contest committee anybody can come on in VHF NFD and have few QSOs to help out.  And I'm sure your qso correspondents will have been grateful.   But according to the rules as published if you called CQ you just can't submit an entry in the "Fixed station sweepers" category, so I guess its a check-log

And I can assure you that there are some who are more used to breathing the rarified air up in these vhf climes who agree with you.   Absolutely bonkers.   I hope that the contest committee are taking note, but as there have been comments in the past that they don't pay much attention to what is being said here and need things sending directly to them I am ccing this.   I could find no address on the VHFCC site so am using one off the hf site.

As I've already said on here,  it made the contest quite awkward to work and a lot of qsos (with portable nfd stations) were missed as they were mainly s&ping themselves.  I for one won't bother again under the current rules.
