Ian, it really comes down to what your station will be and what you want
to get out of it. You need to answer yourself some questions first -

1 - Are you multi-op or single op?
2 - Do you want radio interface, network to more than one computer,
access to DX Cluster?
3 - What are your objectives?

I would forget HRD as it is not a contest logger, also I am not sure it
will export a Cabrillo formatted file which is what you will need for
your entry file.

SD is good for single op, ie one person operating one radio connected to
one computer. Multiplier indoication is excellent. It will do everything
you want. It is basic compared with other programs but excellent for the
KISS principle!

Wintest will give you networking to more than one computer if you want
that and will allow DX Cluster access. Multiplier indication is
excellent also.

N1MM has lots of bells and whistles if you really need them. (For some
silly reasons I am an N1MM nut!)

Thank about what YOU want not what WE want you to choose!

Just read G3UEG's resposne which seems to confirm my comments!
