There were quite a few NA on 40m during the end on Sunday. What surprised me was I was beating most of the Eastern EUs calling them. And this was with just a horizontal dipole at about 25 feet.

It seemed a very relaxed event. (Not that I have been on WPX for a couple of decades!).
What with the weather being so nice, the nightmare of doing some furniture removal requiring the removal of a window and climbing a ladder plus going to a Strawbs concert - only had a few hours on before I was falling asleep on the K3! Zzzzzzzzz

What's next?!

Was it just me or did there appear to be relatively few North American
stations available to EU in WPX last weekend?
