[UK-CONTEST] Re :- Cut Numbers.

Now I am confused.

I have definitely heard V used for 4 but that would have been 3 if the
dahs are simply cut down.

So I have done a quick search and found three differing definitions.

There does not seem to be an agreed standard abbreviation for 3 (V or V
or W), 4 (4 or 4 or V), 5 (E or E or S), 6 (6 or 6 or B) or 7 (B or G or
G).

These inconsistencies are from the G3NPF (reduced dahs), QSL.net and
AC6V websites.

1, 2, 8, 9 and 0 are consistent and 5 as a single dit seems to be common
usage.

It certainly looks as though 3 - 4, and 6 - 7 are ambiguous. Is there
such a thing as an agreed abbreviation for these numbers? If so where is
it?
