I intended to have a go at Beru this year to try and get into the VK team for next year. I failed miserably due to all manner of excuses, but I *should* be around for 2010 with an antenna or two. I've now got 40m sorted out and 80m needs a bit of attention (bloody roo ate the guy ropes on the vertical!!) and HF is coming along nicely and should be available in a month or two.

Beru clashes with a domestic contest in VK and most VK stations contesting that weekend tend to lean towards the domestic option - for whatever personal reasons. Maybe they want to use phone rather than CW - who knows?
