[UK-CONTEST] FW: old gits vs young gits

May I speak for an as yet unmentioned group "Gits". As a 50 something I feel there must be someone out there worth listening to and perhaps this is the medium to find them! I myself have not yet acheived "Old Git" wisdom but think I too would probably be unacceptable to "Young" ones!
Old, Young and other Gits too might be interested in the Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association's CW Hour on Tuesday evenings. This takes place between 3.540 MHz and 3.550 MHz starting at 8pm clocok time. The intention is to provide morse at any speed required and was started in the days when the club frequently had new cw ops who were perhaps a little nervous of starting a qso with a total stranger. Sadly, this has turned out recently to be infrequent and now it is the regulars chatting for an hour.
Anyone wishing to take part, please join us and either answer a "CQ CARA" call or make one! The advantage of making the call is you have already set the speed.

Often QRV 3.716 MHz in the SSB "EGOMAN" net. Explanation available on request.
