Again (as per bottom of this trail), I resolved all my RFI problems in  
my ADSL by fitting a filter made by the K-Y filter company, see <https://www.merchantamerica.com/kyfilters/index.php?ba=view_category&category=1993

That same filter is now in use by a friend (I now have cable modem)  
and doing the same excellent job.
