[UK-CONTEST] VHF beams

Not much mention of Tonna, until now.

In the past, I've found that the aluminium seems to corrode quite quickly,
and the plastic parts tend to deteriorate in the sun (splits in the driven
element moulding are common). So that only leaves you with an N Type socket
hanging on the end of the feeder !

These comments largely relate to relatively old models; maybe the current
range is improved. In terms of "gain per buck" they're pretty good.

I bought a moonraker 70cm beam. It too was equipped with a gamma-match that

didn't. Also, the design was such that the feeder exited in line with the
gamma arm on the other side of the boom, parallel with and about 2cm away
from the driven element! I now have a Tonna!
