Hi
Well I'm glad I didn't do this as a proper event, I worked what I could hear when I was able to be on, and that amounted to..... 12! Actually there were a few of others I heard who were S&Ping (good signal from G4CLA) but mostly it was the usual culprits g4dez, g0vhf, m0baa, g4dsp etc, g5lk (who are they?, good signal here)
Nothing from GW, nothing from IO83, IO82 for that matter.

That's nice :-) You were mine as well.

AND I outODX'd Ray :-)
The prize for the best ears goes to G2BQY who I worked under dire conditions on the saturday - I hadn't managed to get the amplifier hooked up, they weren't that strong here and I thought "what the heck, have a try" and they came back with "echo golf?" That was with my MM TVTR barefoot, just 10 watts - pleased with that, 567km on 10Watts under poor condx.
The Antenna was the back 7 elements of my old DL6WU, when I can find the rest of the sub-boom mast clamp the front 4 elements can go back on....... Whether it's worth it I don't know, I had to rebuild the feed point (again) on saturday and both the driven element and the matching coax are now shorter (again), the SWR seemed a bit high. It's probably ideal for the FM end of the band :-) (It's just like a slim jim, except you have to point it.....)
I'm looking forward to getting on for the next NAC - surely conditions have to be better than that?
