Hi Stewart,

Why would you sign /P ?

That requirement was abolished in 2006.

Advice/explanation please??

If I went /p to Scotland and ran a contest under our new contest call of GW6W the NOV suggests the 'W' should be changed to 'S' being the secondary locator for GM clubs.

But does this mean I can use GC6W ('C' for Welsh clubs..) in this weekend's WPX from home? As I understand it we can vary the club's main call between GW4TTA and GC4TTA at will, though this has been the subject of regular discussion amongst the clubs 'licencing regulation' obsessives.

GW6W is licenced to the club's meeting place which has no shack so I guess it'll have to be GW6W/P when in use by members.

I wouldn't want us to be using a call without permission now ;-)

Afterthought.... So why aren't the club contest calls issued with the club secondary locators (X,S,C etc) in the first place seeing that they are all just NOVs on club calls..?
