Hello Brian,

Well, I'll probably be earning 'brownie points' this weekend so any entry in the CW leg of the Oceania contest will not be of the same scale as the SSB leg at VK4KW.

I've got a few G's in the log, but hoardes of DLs, ONs, SPs etc, from working on 80m and 15m. We also worked them on 20m and 40m of course, but I thought that 15 and 80 might've been a bit marginal. There were some excellent signals coming out of EU and the signal from VK4KW must've been resonable to raise the EU interest I suppose....

10m only had more 'local' traffic, with UA0s, JAs and VKs of course. We didn't go onto 160m as I couldn't hear any traffic at all on there. Maybe I missed out though, as i couldn't hear much on 80 until I put a call out. A lesson learned maybe...!

A few sunsopts can make all the difference of course, but NA were out in force and the 100w with a dipole brigade were very much in evidence. I know this, because a fair number of them told me during the QSO! So, spots or not, they were having a crack at it and got into the log.

Have fun and 73,

Phil
