[UK-CONTEST] CQ-100 et al

Can't say I've used CQ100, don't have any desire to quite frankly but
when people talk about working
station on 14 MHz using CQ100, am I right to assume that in such a
contact, there is no RF radiated on 14 MHz,
or any frequency in the Radio Spectrum for that matter? If I am right in
this assumption, then such contact is not radio
in my mind.
