You have provided us with your unofficial rule: "the sender determines his
callsign and it should be logged accurately as received".
My own unofficial rule is: Do not log /QRP in the callsign field of your log
because it is not part of the callsign.
I think your rule is based on some marine radio rule so is not directly
relevant to amateur radio contesting. There are enough rules in amateur
radio without us inventing new ones!
