[UK-CONTEST] 144 AFS Report

Seems a very long contest for the number of QSOs made by the leading 
station.

I came on for just 50 mins from 1355 to 1445. All I did was find a clear 
frequency and call CQ. In that time I worked 30 QSOs. I did not bother 
to tune the band and only turned the beam.

I had a rate of 36 QSOs per hour in that 50 mins. I even had a small 
pile up for a couple of minutes. Best DX was in to Germany at 536Km. 
Otherwise all G other than 2 GWs.

The highest received number was 164 with the next being 153.

K3+transverter+PA 400watts to 12 el yagi at 22 metre AGL with site at 
80m ASL.

I am looking forward to the 80m CW and SSB AFS in January.
