Well I guess I am getting older as well...
The rules for remote operation are specified on the CQ160 site:
Remote operation is permitted under the following conditions:
*The use of any receiver located away from the main site is strictly
prohibited.
*The use of a separate receiver at the remote control location is
prohibited.
*Any receiver linked via the Internet or RF not physically located at
the main site is strictly prohibited.
*If the remote station is located in another DXCC entity, it is
required to comply with all local country regulations.
If I read that correctly it suggests you can have a remote transmitter
but the receiver must be located at the home station. That doesn't
quite seem right. Or maybe it is interpreting the remote station as the
'main' site and the home shack as the 'remote control station'. All
very confusing.
Usual little qrp entry from G3YMC, slow hard going with 130 QSOs, 33
countries and a single USA. I thought support from the UK was very
sparse this year.
