[UK-CONTEST] UKAC 23 cms contests

Hello,
I've just been looking at the results for UKAC 23cms 2009.
I must admit I'm surprised at the activity level, I didn't think it was so 
high on this band.
Last year I was active on 50/70/144/432 out /P mostly in the summer months 
and I was half thinking of trying 23cms.
My question is typically how well do stations do "unassisted" i.e. without 
'KST?
I'm not knocking use of the cluster but as a single op /P it's enough to get 
set up and running without having a computer to run as well!

I hope to have a go later in the year from IO94 &/or IO84 with 30W and 
either a single or pair of 35 element yagi's.
