[UK-CONTEST] Warming Up

Guys,

Let's not lose sight of one significant advantage of the status quo in
that it does allow the band to be 'populated' in a more or less orderly
manner. Having to QSY after the first QSO seems to be a recipe for
'frequency fights' all over the band.

The other point which sometimes does not get mentioned is why do the
'plaintiffs' think they would get any advantage with the proposed
change? In my experience, it is the stations with the best antennas
and the best operators which seem to come out best again and again and
again. Most of the top stations in the recent 80m Sprint series were
drawn from the list of 'usual suspects'.
