Early May to mid/late June would therefore be the optimum in general and the end of May to around the beginning of June a typical peak.
I don't have EU Es details for 4m but with those reaching 2m one would conclude 4m would be absolutely bristling and observing records going back to 2001, this has been the case for 2m openings. Some years there has been none at all in July.

The band is producing some Es this afternoon but as expected for mid July, not particularly widespread. Certainly better than the previous August date though.
