You can squeeze more than that out of them, but anything over 
300ish Watts isn't adding to your signal on channel, it's wiping 
out your neighbours with splatter.

I've worked on several over the years. They are potentially deadly 
to both operator and rig. The earthing is iffy and mains is 
carried on long bare pcb tracks with insufficient gaps to low 
voltage electronics. Large air inlet holes (with no mesh on the 
ones I've seen) allow debris and insects in, and the inevitable 
does happen.

Value - £30 for the valve and base, £10 for the transformer, £5 
for the rest as scrap.
