As I'm definitely not on Ofcom's Christmas card list, I was waiting to see exactly
how Ofcom rejected my application.
"One of the provided evidence of contests entered as an individual station
has been done so under a licence and call sign from a country other than the UK"
This was for a submission of 5B/G3RXQ in CQWW SSB.
It then goes on to say, that to ensure that the appropriate information is provided
refer to item (e) of form OfW286.
I did this with my application, and have reviewed it again in the light of my
rejection.
a) I can find NO reference to the contest station having to be active from the UK.
b) There is NO reference to a licence issued by Ofcom, and used under CEPT not
being accepted.
What a shambles, making it up as they go along, again !
