An incorrect deduction, I work many of the large international contests 
and in particular BARTG, ARRL, CQ etc. My comments are about RSGB 
organised contests. If I wanted to comment on ARRL contests a different 
reflector would be required for them to hear my comments.

My thinking is: why waste time and effort on a dying contest, when that 
effort could be used to better effect for the contesting community as a 
whole? A scarce resource should be used wisely.
